All Wexiodisk machines and associated equipment sold in the UK are covered by a standard 12 month manufacturers parts and labour Warranty operated by Serviceline. The Warranty period commences from the date of commissioning or first use, or 15 months from the factory shipment date whichever is the earlier.
Installations carried out by Serviceline will be to suitable isolation points within 1 metre of services. A standard installation assumes that the equipment will be installed on a weekday, to a ground floor location, where delivery has been made to the point of use, and the site is clear of all existing equipment. Installations that require non-standard works or materials will be quoted for after a site survey has been completed.
Commissioning will be carried out by Serviceline to ensure that all equipment has been installed to the manufacturer’s requirements. A customer demonstration will be done immediately thereafter. When the installation has not been carried out by Serviceline, any incorrect installation will be reported to the installer. A second commissioning may be required after the faults have been corrected. A charge will be made for re-commissioning. An incorrect installation may invalidate the Warranty until corrected, and Serviceline reserves the right to correct serious faults and charge the installer for the work done.
For a period of 12 months from the start date of the Warranty, the Wexiodisk equipment is covered for all inherent manufacturing and component defects. Warranty provision operates from 8am to 5pm weekdays. Warranty calls may be placed at other times, but attendance to site will attract a charge. Customers are responsible for ensuring access is available to the equipment. A maximum of 15 minutes is allowed on site for completing permits to work. A charge will be made if access to equipment is denied, or permits to work cannot be issued within the time allowed.
Wexiodisk products must be supplied with the correct electrical, water, chemical and waste services. Work required due to incorrect services that result in equipment failure or damage, will be charged.
Users must refer to the manufacturer’s manual for cleaning and routine maintenance tasks. Work due to the lack of, or incorrect maintenance or cleaning is not covered by the warranty.
